Nicolas Ghesquière Louis Vuitton contract renewal

Louis Vuitton's creative director Nicolas Ghesquière has led the brand's womenswear collections since he replaced Marc Jacobs in 2013. After much speculation about Ghesquière leaving the brand, the chairman and chief executive Michael Burke dismissed the rumor at the LV Cruise 2023 show by confirming that Ghesquière's contract will be renewed next year.
In 2016, Nicolas Ghesquière told his plan to build his signature collection on a French national television talk show, even though he didn't specify when. From this moment, rumors about Ghesquière leaving Louis Vuitton may appear every two years. Thus, Michael Burke further noted that the rumor swirled among an international crowd of guests at the Cruise 2023 show is a common sport. Nicolas Ghesquière personally has not yet commented on it, but we can bet that the contract will be sealed once again.
Jacquemus x Nike dropped a teaser

Even though Jacquemus is well-known for its tiny leather accessories, Jacquemus also tinkers with sportswear-inspired pieces such as hiking boots or even scuba gear. The walls between luxury and sneakers have become increasingly thin, and now, Jacquemus set to release a collaboration with Nike on June 28th!
It is stated that Simon Porte Jacquemus himself has always been inspired by vintage ACG and Nike campaigns from the 90s. Aiming for a collection that minimally reinterprets athletic women's sportswear, the collaboration will include 15 pieces of the designer's neutral-toned combined with Nike's technical innovations. Jacquemus further stated that the collection will be inclusive of all body types ranging from pleated skirts and simple bodycon dresses, to unisex footwear and accessories as a way to merge integrated sport-centered style into daily wear.

Even though Chlöe Sevigny and her gallerist partner, Siniša Mačković, have been married since 2020, the happy couple only gets to throw an official celebration this year at a big white chapel in Darien, Connecticut. All eyes were on the coolest bride as Chloe wore a sheer Jean Paul Gaultier Haute Couture dress designed by Glenn Martins. She looks stunning in the ghostly nude-illusion gown fashioned from layers of pinched tulle while she holds five calla lilies. After the ceremony, the bride and groom took off in a vintage Mercedes, along with the classic 'Just Married' sign and cans hanging off the back. Roll out the 'and they live happily ever after' ending scene, please!
