Movie buffs, rejoice! For the upcoming month, there will be a lot of exciting titles coming out to complete your summer. From Wes Anderson's newest movie to DC's blockbuster as well as the long-awaited new season of Netflix's Black Mirror, here are several movies and series coming your way this month!

Asteroid City

Wes Anderson's one-of-a-kind touch will be shown on his newest feature film, Asteroid City, slated for release this month after making its premiere at the 2023 Cannes Film Festival a while ago. The story is set in a fictional American desert town in 1955. There'll be the Junior Stargazer convention that would bring together students and parents from across the country for scholarly competition, rest and recreation, comedy, drama, romance, and more.

Asteroid City will feature a star-studded cast including Margot Robbie, Maya Hawke, Steve Carrell, Tom Hanks, Tilda Swinton, Ed Norton, and more.

Asteroid City will make its way to the theaters starting on June 23rd.

Black Mirror

Netflix's most favorite show, Black Mirror, will return for their sixth season after four years of hiatus. The dystopian anthology series will be back for another unpredictable, unclassifiable, and unexpected season with a giant cast such as Salma Hayek, Josh Hartnett, Michael Cera, Aaron Paul, Kate Mara, Danny Ramirez, and more.

Black Mirror will be available to stream on Netflix.

Delete

Netflix Thailand original series Delete is a psychological thriller drama that tells about a mysterious mobile phone that can make people disappear with just one click. It gets twisted when the phone falls into the hands of a group of people who have a complex relationship with secrets to hide. Well, if you could delete someone from your life, who would you choose?

Delete will be available to stream on Netflix starting on June 28th.

Elemental

Pixar's Elemental will follow the story of fire element Ember and water element Wade who met, fell in love, and subsequently try to make their relationship work. Being a fire element, Ember is described as a tough, quick-witted fire element who loves working at her family's convenience store in Fire Town, but has trouble controlling her explosive temper. If she touched water, she would be extinguished, so she holds an umbrella to protect herself. Meanwhile Wade is a fun, go-with-the-flow kind of guy but also very sappy and emotional.

Elemental will make its way to the theaters starting on June 16th.

Secret Invasion

Nick Fury will return once more to the MCU in the new Marvel series, Secret Invasion. The story follows the superspy who returns to Earth to save humanity from the invasion of shapeshifting Skrulls. Not only will we see familiar characters like War Machine, Everett Ross, Maria Hill, and Talos, but Secret Invasion will also be the debut of Olivia Colman and Emilia Clark in the MCU.

Secret Invasion will be available to stream on Disney+ Hotstar starting on June 21st.

The Flash

The Flash standalone film will finally be released this year. Ezra Miller will reprise his role as Barry Allen, who travels back in time to prevent his mother's murder. However, his attempt traps him in an alternate reality without metahumans. Hence, he enlists the help of his younger self, a different Batman, and the Kryptonian castaway Supergirl in order to return to his original universe and save the alternate reality from General Zod.

The Flash will make its way to the theaters starting on June 16th.

The Idol

Starring Lily-Rose Depp, a fame-hungry popstar is eager to revamp her career after her mother's untimely death. She met Tedros (Abel "The Weeknd" Tesfaye), a powerful, sex-obsessed cult leader who somehow helped her career skyrockets. The Idol will also be BLACKPINK's Jennie's debut in a television series.

The Idol will be available to stream on HBO Max starting on June 4th.
